Problem.
4 Wheel Parts, the USA’s largest off-road aftermarket retailer, managed a vast e-commerce ecosystem covering multiple in-house brands including Smittybilt, Pro Comp, Rubicon Express, G2 Axle & Gear, Poison Spyder, 4 Wheel Drive Hardware, Trail Master, and LRG Rims.
The legacy platform was non-responsive, inconsistent across sub-brands, and lacked accessibility compliance slowing the shopping journey and hurting conversions.

Solution.
Over four years, I transformed an outdated, inconsistent e-commerce ecosystem into a unified, high-performing platform. I solved challenges such as fragmented branding, poor mobile usability, and lack of accessibility by creating a scalable design system, a detailed style guide, and WCAG-compliant improvements. The result was an adaptive framework that preserved each sub-brand’s identity while delivering faster development cycles, consistent usability, and an inclusive shopping experience for millions of customers.

Reflection.
Joining 4 Wheel Parts was truly my dream company, as the UI Designer & Front-End Developer gave me the opportunity to contribute to a platform I admired and to work alongside a highly driven team in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Our process involved regular sprint meetings, A/B testing, and continuous design and code enhancements, all aimed at creating a seamless, brand-consistent, and accessible shopping experience. I collaborated closely with content specialists, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver adaptive, high-performing interfaces that aligned with both user needs and business goals.
By maintaining a unified design system and implementing accessibility best practices, I played a direct role in elevating usability, supporting sales growth, and ensuring the platform could scale effectively — making this not only a professional success but also a deeply fulfilling personal milestone.
